How do I prepare for a Spray Tan session?

For the best result, before your session, you should shower or bathe and exfoliate your skin (it is best not too use a too heavily moisturising shower gel as these can create a barrier between your skin and the tanning solution).

When exfoliating, pay special attention to your elbows, knees and any other dry areas. Wax or shave 24-48 hours prior to your session - do not shave on the day of your tan.

Do not moisturise before your session, you should ensure that your skin is free of perfumes, lotions, oils, deodorants, gels or any product on the skin that would create a barrier. You will be asked to remove any large jewellery and watches and not put it back on until a few hours after your tan.

What should I wear while being sprayed?

You should wear whatever you are comfortable with such as a swimsuit, bikini, underwear, a disposable thong which we can provide depending on your own level of comfort.  Remember, any part of your body that is covered when you are sprayed will remain untanned.

You may be spray tanned without any clothing at all if you prefer - The key is your comfort level, but please rest assured that the tanning technician will use the utmost discretion.  Please note that you should not wear your best or favourite underwear just in case it is stained by the tanning solution.

After your spray tan session you should wear loose dark clothing and flip-flops or loose fitting shoes (try to avoid wearing socks or boots immediately after your session). Tight clothing may cause the tan to rub off prior to developing.
